one of us is a murderer
Thursday, April 27, 2006
my words became
hollow
wood
blocks.

with them,
a monument was built
in your name.

a tribute to
the most hopeless
of emotions.

seeing only a meaningless structure,
you kicked,
brought down...
into errant piles
and loosened dirt.

there was a final sunset
through the settling dust--
pure,
beautiful,
and most importantly...
true.

of borders, kings, and orders...
Monday, April 10, 2006
followed the funeral procession
of the brain
to the local purchase-plex.

america's closet,
a warehouse for
the coveted,
the shiny,
the mentally flaccid.

a sad trail
of sad insects
attempting to prove their worth.

the fairest of flesh pressed
into the tightest of clothes...
the million dollar rapper
selling the manliest prose.

we are simple toys,
and they know how to pull
the O ring attached
to the backs of our vanity--
color,
size,
shape,
image.

in our perambulation
of mindlessness
we fail to notice
the sealing
of the doors
behind us.

[are you more than what you buy anymore?]

oh, the hills scatter into the darkness

the kissinger carcass
a killer's prayer

all that you've paid for
three reasons to walk home
