the chronicle of the two-headed heart
Monday, June 27, 2005
bended back,
an uncomfortable frame--
resting arms
along the rubber mouth of a window rolled down...

tears fall from oculus
onto unwitting flesh.

promises straining, doing their best to be kept.
a contest takes place--
words in a mid-air dogfight
firing their best valedictions.

senses will decieve as i see your name on billboards...
hear your voice in memory movie moments,
awaken myself answering your call in my dreams,
and curse (thank?) you for all of this.

if goodbyes were easy,
time would lose meaning.
